Operation Smile is an organization with more than 5,000 volunteer doctors, nurses, dentists and specialized health care professionals, perform free reconstructive surgeries for children with cleft lips, cleft palates and other facial deformities. With the help of a mobilized force of medical professionals, the organization has provided more than 3.5 million comprehensive patient evaluations and over 200,000 free surgeries.

"Operation Smile changes the trajectory of these children's lives, without the surgeries many of these kids would never make it in society or worse not make it to adulthood".
The Day of Smiles took place on Saturday October 5th in neighborhoods and businesses in the Plano and Frisco area. The JM Direct Smile Team reached out to the community face to face to ask for donations. By the end of the day JM Direct had raised over $400 for Operation Smile.
